Welcome to TeXample net, a brand new web site dedicated to the wonderful world of TeX and friends.

At the moment most of the content on TeXample.net has been previously published on my fauskes.net web site. Over the last couple years the site has accumulated a considerable amount of LaTeX-oriented content. The most popular content has without doubt been the TikZ and PGF examples. I have now collected close to hundred examples, most of them contributed by the community. To reflect this I felt the need for giving the examples a home that is not so tightly coupled with my personal web site. The result is TeXample.net

A brief tour of the site

TikZ and PGF

The TikZ section consists of an updated version of the examples gallery, a growing collection of links to TikZ and PGF resources, and a PGF builds section that will help you track the development of PGF and download CVS snapshots.

The TeX community aggregator

The feed aggregator is inspired by the Django community aggregator (it even uses the same code). The idea is to provide a single feed for getting updates from blogs and web sites that publish TeX-related content. Currently only a handful of feeds are aggregated. Feel free to contact me if you want me to add your site.

Future plans

Most of the TeX-oriented content on fauskes.net will be relocated here. I also have ideas for few new tools that I believe the TeX-community will find useful. I will not give any details, but it is a good chance that it will be Beamer related.

This site is still a work in progress. Your feedback is welcome. If you are interested in how the site has been implemented, the complete source code is freely available.

I have now enabled comments for the weblog and the most recent TikZ example entries.
